Sustainable Living
There’s a brand new feature at the Show! And it’s all about Sustainable Living.
Sustainable Living describes a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of the Earth’s natural resources, and one’s personal resources.
The idea of ‘sustainability’ can seem a little overwhelming, or ‘too green’ at first, leaving people wondering where, how or even why to make changes themselves.
But it’s not all about solar panels and compostable toilets. There are so many small, easy changes that can be made in every household, that can and will have such a positive effect overall.
You don't have to live "off-the-grid" to make a difference!
The Sustainable Living feature has been created to showcase exactly how YOU, as an individual and as part of a household, can play your part.
Through interactive demos and informative seminar talks, we hope to educate Home Show visitors on sustainable living options, and increase awareness around some really great, existing local council and government initiatives.
On top of that, we have a great range of home renovating and building businesses committed to sustainability and eco-products in the Show already.
From eco-paint to building energy-efficient homes, the Sustainable Living feature at the Auckland Home Show has it all covered.
Attend our free seminars and come away with expert advice about all things sustainable. Check out the timetable below:
