Neon gas was first discovered in 1898 in England. It is one of the 6 Noble gases and is odourless and colourless.
The most common use of the gas was in neon signs. From the 1920’s to the 1960’s, and again in the 1980’s, city streets were aglow with glass neon signs marketing businesses and services. However, due to safety concerns, inefficiency and cost, Neon signage largely disappeared in favour of LED signs.
The look has not lost its appeal and we are proud to release our Neon Rocket story which retains the brightness, look and feel of Neon, at a much more affordable price.
