Rifters Gin

Rifters are makers of small batch premium gins. Handcrafted in New Zealand using flavourful botanicals and pure New Zealand artesian water. Made to be enjoyed in good company.

Our bottle is a nod to the gold foragers and fossickers who founded Arrowtown. Our bottle is a representation of this Arrowtown history and the land that surrounds us, coloured to match the lakes and rivers that flow through Central Otago.

The mountains, lakes and rivers that surround us have captured our imagination for years. They provide the purest ingredients used to make our gin. They also provide a place for us, locals and visitors to explore, discover and play.

Rifters was started by a couple of kiwi builders, Hamish & Stu who are pretty fond of gin. One day in the workshop, they decided they might have a nudge at creating their own. A couple of years later and a whole lot of trial, they figured things out. So much so, Rifters has gone on to win multiple awards around the globe.
